Her lived experience as a disabled person provides unique insight into working with disabled people, as she understands the difficulties and barriers to accessing appropriate supports.
Bella believes that Support Coordinator’s need to be thorough, compassionate, person-centred, and understand how the NDIS works, but most importantly, always be open and willing to learn.
Bella’s favourite part about working in disability is meeting with clients face-to-face and getting to know each person and hear what they are passionate about.

Andy Pappas
Support Coordinator
Andy has worked in the disability sector for more than 35 years. He joined Verbinding because he strongly aligns with the organisation’s philosophy that genuinely focuses on people.

Throughout his career, Andy has held a variety of roles supporting individuals to connect with services, build confidence, and work toward their goals. These experiences demonstrated to him just how powerful it can be when someone feels heard, respected, and supported in making their own choices.

Support coordination became a natural next step for Andy. He has always enjoyed problem-solving, building strong relationships, and helping people feel more in control of their plans. What continues to motivate him is seeing the impact the right supports can have, whether it’s someone gaining greater independence, trying something new, or feeling more confident navigating their NDIS journey.

Andy believes that being an effective support coordinator comes down to listening, clear communication, and genuinely caring about the people you work with. Every person’s story is unique, and he values being part of a team that truly celebrates that.
